About the role

  • Partner with squad leaders and members to promote best testing practices
  • Review and validate test strategies with stakeholders to ensure coverage of unit, functional, performance, and acceptance testing
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks to assess product quality and release readiness
  • Execute manual testing where required and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Train squads on test management tools and practices
  • Create, maintain, and enforce overall program test plans aligned with evolving schedules and timelines
  • Report on test progress, product quality status, and overall test results to stakeholders
  • Continuously advocate for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in software product development and testing for commercially available software
  • Strong technical background with 3–5+ years in test automation
  • Proven experience in creating and managing test plans and strategies
  • Hands-on experience with various testing types: unit, functional, performance, acceptance
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • Financial services domain experience is a plus.
