About the role
- Partner with squad leaders and members to promote best testing practices
- Review and validate test strategies with stakeholders to ensure coverage of unit, functional, performance, and acceptance testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks to assess product quality and release readiness
- Execute manual testing where required and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Train squads on test management tools and practices
- Create, maintain, and enforce overall program test plans aligned with evolving schedules and timelines
- Report on test progress, product quality status, and overall test results to stakeholders
- Continuously advocate for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in software product development and testing for commercially available software
- Strong technical background with 3–5+ years in test automation
- Proven experience in creating and managing test plans and strategies
- Hands-on experience with various testing types: unit, functional, performance, acceptance
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Financial services domain experience is a plus.
