About the role
- In close collaboration with the Group Head of Christian Louboutin Beauty, the Product Manager develops and implements the marketing strategy.
- Leads new product developments, activations and management of existing ranges.
- Contributes to the development of the strategic marketing plan (long-, mid- and short-term) in line with the brand's DNA for upcoming assets.
- Prepares and writes formula and packaging briefs.
- Manages product development from concept through execution.
- Defines the set of activations to support markets during launches (360° product approach: Digital, Retail, Communication, Education) in coordination with internal expert functions.
- Optimizes the marketing mix and product positioning.
- Conducts market and trend analyses.
- Analyses sell-in and sell-out data.
- Assesses project profitability.
- Manages the product development budget.
- Monitors competitors and trends, performs competitive benchmarking and ad-hoc research.
- Coordinates with internal teams for product development and associated 360° activations: communications, digital, studio, laboratory, retail design, packaging, etc.
- Collaborates with industrial/expert teams on product feasibility.
- Manages relationships with agencies and external partners.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in makeup product development
- Master’s degree (Bac +5) from a business school, design school, art school or university
- Fluent in French and English (required)
- Genuine sensitivity, passion and curiosity for the fragrance/beauty universe and awareness of market trends
- Knowledge of perfume development processes and experience working with internal and external stakeholders
