About the role
- Build and scale data models, pipelines, and self-service analytics across the organization
- Develop highly loaded database solutions for various business cases including reporting, product analytics, marketing optimization and financial reporting
- Analyze scope of alternative solutions and make decision about area implementation based on experience and technical expertise
- Lead functional and architectural design of assigned areas
- Ensure design decisions on the project meet architectural and design requirements
- Address area-level risks, provide and implement mitigation plan
- Report about area readiness/quality, and raise red flags in crisis situations
- Identify and execute risk mitigation and compliance exercises
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools to build and support dashboards
- Partner with team members as well as cross-functional partners to support business processes and system solutions
- Manage and resolve client issue escalation and systemic improvements
- Design, develop and implement large scale, high volume, high performance data models and pipelines for Data Lake and Data Warehouse.
Requirements
- 8+ years of total experience
- 4-5 years of total experience working in business intelligence, data analytics, Data engineering or a similar role
- University degree in Computer Related Sciences or similar
- Deep knowledge of ThoughtSpot
- Experience with Tableau/Power BI is a plus
- Years of hands-on Thoughtspot experience is a must
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, 3 Nf, data vault)
- Experience with data warehousing (ETL/ELT) and performance tuning experience
- Proficiency in a programming language Python
- Experience with modern data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, DataBricks, Redshift)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical teams
- Excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving, communication, and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environment, self-starter and self-organizing.
