About the role

  • Build and scale data models, pipelines, and self-service analytics across the organization
  • Develop highly loaded database solutions for various business cases including reporting, product analytics, marketing optimization and financial reporting
  • Analyze scope of alternative solutions and make decision about area implementation based on experience and technical expertise
  • Lead functional and architectural design of assigned areas
  • Ensure design decisions on the project meet architectural and design requirements
  • Address area-level risks, provide and implement mitigation plan
  • Report about area readiness/quality, and raise red flags in crisis situations
  • Identify and execute risk mitigation and compliance exercises
  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools to build and support dashboards
  • Partner with team members as well as cross-functional partners to support business processes and system solutions
  • Manage and resolve client issue escalation and systemic improvements
  • Design, develop and implement large scale, high volume, high performance data models and pipelines for Data Lake and Data Warehouse.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of total experience
  • 4-5 years of total experience working in business intelligence, data analytics, Data engineering or a similar role
  • University degree in Computer Related Sciences or similar
  • Deep knowledge of ThoughtSpot
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI is a plus
  • Years of hands-on Thoughtspot experience is a must
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, 3 Nf, data vault)
  • Experience with data warehousing (ETL/ELT) and performance tuning experience
  • Proficiency in a programming language Python
  • Experience with modern data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, DataBricks, Redshift)
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical teams
  • Excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving, communication, and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment, self-starter and self-organizing.
