About the role
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets generated by routers, switches, wireless systems, and other network devices.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify usage patterns, performance bottlenecks, and failure trends.
- Build dashboards, automated reports, and data visualizations to support product, engineering, and support teams.
- Translate technical data findings into clear, business-focused recommendations.
- Interpret data from routers, switches, and wireless controllers for analytics purposes.
- Assist in validating data accuracy related to network configurations and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts such as: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Routing & switching basics
- Network performance metrics (latency, jitter, throughput, packet loss)
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform statistical analysis.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and storytelling skills.
