About the role

  • Define and implement the architecture for the client's Group’s Unified Data Platform (UDP) on Microsoft Azure
  • Design and maintain the end-to-end architecture of the Unified Data Platform
  • Define data ingestion patterns, storage strategies, and integration frameworks
  • Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards within the platform
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for infrastructure provisioning
  • Provide architectural guidance for data modeling, API design, and advanced analytics integration
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and roadmap planning for platform enhancements
  • Act as a design authority to ensure consistency across multiple DevOps teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture and cloud solutions
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services
  • Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures
  • Proficiency in PowerShell or Python scripting for automation
  • Knowledge of network topologies, firewalls, IAM, and security best practices
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and GDPR compliance
  • Familiarity with front-end BI tools (Power BI, QlikView/QlikSense)
