About the role

  • Preparation of the monthly payroll in collaboration with our external service providers (Germany and Austria)
  • Maintenance and management of payroll-relevant data in our HR system and ensuring data quality
  • Support for HR and payroll projects, e.g., system migrations, audits, and the integration of newly acquired companies
  • Professional contact person for employees, managers and external parties (e.g., health insurance providers, authorities) on all payroll-related matters
  • Participation in the development and optimization of payroll processes and systems
  • Preparation of analyses, statistics and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements in payroll, social security and wage tax
  • Close coordination with HR Business Partners, Finance, our headquarters in Barcelona and external providers to ensure smooth operations
  • Full support in the budget planning process

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training with additional qualification in payroll/wage accounting or a comparable degree
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in payroll, preferably in an international company
  • Very good knowledge of wage tax and social security law and experience with common payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, DATEV, LOGA)
  • Structured, careful and reliable working style with a hands-on mentality and strong numerical affinity
  • Friendly and professional manner with a pronounced service orientation in dealings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with digital HR tools is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
