About the role

  • Apply API led connectivity concepts to business initiatives to help organizations achieve their goals
  • Follow best practices and project guidelines in all cases including the use of source code control, automated testing, deployment approaches, and proper documentation practices
  • Perform and/or participate in design work sessions to guide API Development using MuleSoft
  • Create high-level design of integration solutions and guide implementation teams on Mule components and patterns
  • Apply standard development methods covering the full development lifecycle
  • Perform code reviews and provide mentoring on MuleSoft components

Requirements

  • 8 years of hands-on experience architecting, leading, and delivering solutions related to enterprise integration, APIs, service-oriented architecture
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft ESB, Cloud Hub, and API Management
  • Strong understanding of underlying Mule ESB architecture with experience in server administration and physical deployment on Cloud, On Premise, and Hybrid
  • Understanding of architectural concepts for MuleSoft implementations including encryption, security, logging, scalability, and clustering
  • Ability to design and develop MuleSoft APIs, writing complementary RAML and formally documenting architecture and design specifications
  • Experience with a breadth of MuleSoft inbound/outbound connectors (e.g. Web Services, File, Database, Salesforce, JMS, AWS services)
  • Experience orchestrating complex use cases involving multiple systems incorporating error handling and logging
  • Strong knowledge of EAISOA best practices, development methodologies, and standards
  • Experience in building batch processes for integration between systems
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ
  • Strong experience in Application Development using Mule ESB, SOAEAI technologies, and API management
  • Demonstrable understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST), XML, JSON formats, document schemas, HTTP protocol, and underlying internetworking concepts
  • Good to have experience in integrating with ERP like SAP, SAP S4 HANA
  • Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Maven, Jenkins, Subversion, Git, or comparable toolsets
  • Experience with Java/JEE programming development
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues and defects
