About the role

  • Participate in night/weekend maintenance windows.
  • Configure/commission network equipment as per work plans.
  • Troubleshoot incidents/issues during interventions and restore service continuity.
  • Prepare detailed work plans during weekdays for upcoming interventions.
  • Align execution plans with the architecture team.
  • Coordinate actions and status with field engineering teams during on-site work.

Requirements

  • Availability to work scheduled maintenance windows during nights and weekends.
  • Strong knowledge of WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Firewall technologies.
  • Advanced routing configuration skills for LAN and WAN.
  • Hands-on configuration and deployment of: routers and switches, WLAN controllers and access points, Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to ensure remote offices are operational post-intervention.
  • Solid Python knowledge to develop scripts automating changes on network equipment.
  • Ability to prepare work plans ensuring compliance with legal working hours and rest periods.
  • Ability to collaborate with architecture and coordinate with field engineering teams during interventions.
  • Nice to have: Cisco CCNP (or higher), Palo Alto PCNSE, CompTIA Network+ (or equivalent), other relevant certifications in LAN/WAN or wireless networking.
