- You take ownership of manufacturing cost calculations.
- You are responsible for annual and intra-year costing runs and ensure their correct execution.
- You reliably prepare monthly and annual financial statements and budgets — complemented by clear profitability, performance and ad-hoc analyses.
- You scrutinize production variances: analyze and assess them, and derive concrete measures to increase efficiency.
- You further develop existing KPIs and contribute new ideas for a meaningful performance measurement system.
- You coordinate inventories and ensure their proper execution.
Requirements
- Degree in Business/Economics with a focus on Finance/Controlling and at least three years' professional experience in an industrial company, ideally in production controlling.
- Knowledge of accounting under IAS/IFRS.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), SAP FI/CO, and ideally in BI tools (e.g., Qlik).
- An analytically strong, solution-oriented personality who communicates confidently and effectively at all levels of the organization, can build cross-departmental relationships, and drive initiatives forward through effective persuasion despite initial resistance.
Benefits
- Exciting responsibilities — take them on with a high degree of autonomy in an ambitious environment with excellent development opportunities.
- Attractive compensation — competitive base salary according to the chemical industry collective agreement, annual one-off payments (holiday pay, Christmas bonus, future contribution), and enhancement of statutory long-term care insurance with an additional care insurance.
- Additional financial benefits — support for private retirement provision, a life-phase account for paid leave (e.g., sabbatical, early retirement), discounts in many (online) shops, and bike leasing.
- Regular working hours — 37.5 hours per week, 1–2 days of mobile work per week, time-off in lieu for overtime, age-related leave options, 30 days of annual vacation, and special leave for particular occasions.
- Health & well-being — company medical service with comprehensive preventive examinations, social counseling, and an on-site staff canteen with freshly prepared meals daily.
