About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance, feedback, and support.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, maintaining high code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during development and implementation phases.
- Foster a collaborative team culture and work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across functions (e.g., Finance, Operations) to identify challenges, gather requirements, and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Perform in-depth analysis of existing systems and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, use cases, process flows, and data models.
- Design and develop end-to-end technical solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., scalability, security, performance).
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Create architectural blueprints, diagrams, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to validate solutions and guide development teams.
- Present technical designs and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, negotiating trade-offs and gaining consensus.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT
- Strong background in software development/engineering
- Proven experience in technical leadership or team lead roles
- Demonstrated expertise in business analysis and solution architecture/design
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong understanding of software development languages and tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and IT infrastructure
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and database management systems
- Knowledge of integration and security best practices
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or CBAP preferred.
