About the role
- Oversee quality assurance in the assigned production area and provide systemic support for product and process improvements
- Conduct data analyses to ensure compliance with product and process specifications, create and update statistics, and propose improvements when trends or irregularities are identified
- Initiate and support projects, for example in failure/non-conformance management or change management
- Create and maintain specifications according to customer requirements and parameter definitions, and take responsibility for test planning in line with customer specifications
- Monitor compliance with quality assurance requirements, conduct internal audits, evaluate the results and recommend appropriate measures
- Manage complaint handling, analyze related data, and initiate and track corrective actions
- Coordinate qualification and development of suppliers and supplied parts, perform pre-selection, plan tests and analyses, and assess the results
- Develop and design processes within your area of responsibility and implement them
- Train employees on quality assurance topics, lead sub-projects in your field, and prepare documentation and presentations
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or a natural science (e.g., chemistry, physics) or an equivalent technician qualification, plus initial professional experience in quality management
- Additional qualifications in quality management (e.g., QMB [Quality Management Representative], Auditor, Six Sigma, etc.) desirable
- Good communication skills; ability to work independently and proactively
- Very good Microsoft Office 365 skills and a strong affinity for working with data
- Business-fluent German and English, both spoken and written
