About the role
- Lead technical architecture and solution design across Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Absence, Time & Labor, etc.).
- Drive presales activities, including requirement discovery, technical demonstrations, solution workshops, and developing SOWs.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable HCM technical solutions, including integrations, reports, extensions, and data conversions.
- Architect and guide development of HCM Extracts, BI Publisher Reports, HDL/FAST formulas, OIC/ICS integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and extensions using Oracle PaaS.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction through all phases of implementation.
- Lead and mentor a team of technical consultants, providing oversight on solution quality, development standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, project managers, sales, and partners) on presales and delivery.
- Develop technical proposals, SOWs, effort estimates, and delivery models aligned with customer needs.
- Build and expand the technical consulting practice by identifying new service offerings, reusable components, and delivery accelerators.
- Stay current on Oracle Cloud HCM releases, tools, and emerging technologies to guide innovation and continuous improvement.
- Conduct technical reviews, ensure governance, and troubleshoot critical project issues.
- Support enablement programs to strengthen Oracle HCM technical capabilities within sales and delivery teams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience architecting and delivering Oracle Cloud HCM technical solutions in enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in: HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, OTBI, HDL, HSDL, Fast Formulas Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and API-based integrations
- Data migration, security architecture, workflow extensions
- Proven track record in presales, creating solution architectures, effort estimates, and winning large HCM transformation deals.
- Experience leading or growing a technical consulting practice or architecture team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage technical and business audiences.
- Deep understanding of HR processes, data models, and cross-module dependencies in Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Oracle Cloud HCM certifications preferred (Technical or Implementation Specialist).
- Experience with Oracle PaaS, VBCS, PCS, and other cloud platform tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code for Oracle Cloud.
- Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.
- Strong knowledge of multi-pillar Oracle environments, including ERP, SCM, and PaaS.
