About the role
- Specialized CAD engineer to design and release CAD models and drawings (using CATIA v5 and v6) of parts that provide protection, mounting, housing and structure to Automotive ECUs
- Design and release of plastic components for mounting or housing Electronic Control Units components, mainly for Infotainment and ADAS products
- Design and modification of 3D models in CATIA
- Design 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings per client guidelines
- Cost and quality tracking
- Design for manufacturing following DFMEA, clash avoidance and design rules
- Generate part numbers, create RFQs
- Manage tooling manufacturing with suppliers to meet requirements
Requirements
- Good conversational English skills (B2, C1, C2)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering or equivalent
- 2-6 years of relevant experience (Mid & Junior positions)
- Experience in 3D and 2D design with CATIA v5
- Experience in plastic parts design
- Experience with PLM SW such as Teamcenter
- Experience with automotive 3D and 2D design guidelines
- Experience with DFMEA
- Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders to collect and clarify requirements
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
