About the role
- Load, operate and unload CNC machinery with ceramic semi-finished products.
- Ensure the machining production schedule is executed to time, quality and productivity requirements.
- Responsible for set-up and operating machine tools to create / modify ceramic parts.
- Set up CNC & industrial machinery and oversee its functioning.
- Interpret and use blueprints for specific piece design, as well as calibrate equipment to follow product specifications.
- Follow strict company and industry safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with other machinists and supervisors.
- Act as a Cell Lead coordinating day to day activity and provide training to team members.
- Properly and safely load and unload raw materials in CNC machinery.
- Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- 5 plus years CNC experience
- Computer Literate and Knowledgeable about tools and tooling
- CNC programming knowledge
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without strain
