About the role
- Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to understand the unique needs of field engineers, analysts, and operations teams.
- Translate complex workflows and data sets into elegant, user-friendly interfaces across desktop and web applications.
- Create wireframes, interaction flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
- Work closely with product managers and developers to define, test, and refine product requirements.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across multiple products and platforms.
- Leverage usability testing and analytics to improve the UX of legacy systems and guide the development of new features.
- Participate in design reviews and present your work with clarity and confidence to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay informed on industry trends in UX, enterprise software, and oil and gas digital transformation.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in UX/UI or product design, preferably with a background in B2B or industrial software.
- A strong portfolio showcasing real-world examples of end-to-end product design, including complex data visualization or workflow optimization.
- Deep understanding of UX principles, UI patterns, and accessibility best practices.
- Proficiency with Figma for UI design, prototyping, and collaboration.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across disciplines and time zones.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
