About the role

  • Design robust, scalable data architectures for projects.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering, Data Science and DevOps teams to align requirements and implementations.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to meet project-specific requirements.
  • Ensure data governance.
  • Contribute to defining data management strategies and best practices to guarantee data quality and integrity.
  • Mentor and train team members on data architecture best practices and technology solutions.
  • Participate in RFPs and commercial proposals.
  • Help advance the data architecture practice by leading a thematic community or delivering training.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience as a Data Architect, with proven expertise designing data architectures for complex projects.
  • Strong programming skills (Python, Java, Scala) and experience with data technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Deep knowledge of data governance principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and solve complex problems.
