About the role
- Responsible for developing and implementing the quality strategy for production
- Ensure compliance with regulatory quality requirements
- Define quality objectives and KPIs for continuous improvement
- Initiate measures and lead projects to improve quality
- Responsible for monitoring production quality, including statistical process and quality controls
- Ensure and oversee the Management of Change process and train employees in quality standards
- Ensure validation of processes, systems and equipment and handle deviations
- Work closely with Production, Research & Development and Supply Chain
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in quality assurance or quality management, ideally with experience leading teams and in change management
- Further training in quality management and Six Sigma Black Belt certification; strong skills in strategic planning and implementing quality initiatives; experience with ISO standards, statistical process control (SPC) and statistical quality control (SQC)
- Confident use of MS Office applications and good knowledge of SAP, TrendMiner and Minitab
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, strong communication and conflict management skills, and ability to work in a team
