About the role

  • Apply expert knowledge of FANUC G/M code, Heidenhain TNC 640, and Renishaw Probe and Laser systems, with proficiency in Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality to develop, optimize, and validate CNC programs for maximum efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update CNC programming databases to ensure consistency and compliance with production standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve CNC-related issues, coordinating tool/material flow, leveraging advanced troubleshooting skills and consulting with engineering teams as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, production, and quality teams to coordinate assignments and resolve technical challenges.
  • Work with vendors to source and order support equipment and manage all CNC programs across production to ensure alignment with operational goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required; advanced technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of CNC programming experience, with expert-level proficiency in Mastercam and 5-axis programming.
  • Strong understanding of Blueprint Reading, GD&T, and advanced inspection tools and methods.
  • Ability to detect, isolate, and correct irregularities in machinery and equipment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes and competing priorities.
  • Safety-oriented, mature, and detail-driven work ethic.
