About the role
- Individual consultation & sales: First point of contact for international customers in-store, advising on fragrances and beauty products to meet individual needs and ensure competent guidance.
- Sales responsibility: Jointly responsible with the team for achieving targets and increasing store sales.
- Customer retention & acquisition: Building a loyal customer base and actively acquiring new customers.
- Presentation & brand image: Ensuring products are presented optimally and attractively in line with the brand image and guidelines.
- Sales promotion: Planning and executing clearance promotions, events and other creative sales-driving initiatives.
- Stockroom maintenance & ordering: Responsible for availability of product testers/samplers, restocking, and the execution, administration and booking of merchandise orders.
- Deputy people management: Acting in place of the Store Director with responsibility for the disciplinary and professional leadership of the BYREDO Flagship Store team.
- Supportive staff scheduling: Preparing the digital rota for the Flagship Store team together with the Store Director, or taking full responsibility in their absence.
- Regular reporting: Reporting to the Retail Manager on Flagship Store developments in the absence of the Store Director.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training in retail or similar qualifications, with experience selling exclusive brands, particularly in fragrances.
- Passion for fragrances & beauty: Enthusiasm and a warm, hospitable approach.
- Initiative & sales orientation: Proactive, independent working style with a results- and sales-driven mindset.
- Strong communication & service orientation: A team player with a pronounced service mindset and genuine enjoyment in delighting customers with our products.
- Well-groomed appearance: A representative of the brand with an appearance appropriate to the brand.
- Organizational skills & numeracy: Responsible for store operations and KPIs in trusted and efficient coordination with the Store Director.
- Stress resistance & resilience: Ability to remain calm in busy periods while maintaining a friendly and courteous manner.
- IT & language skills: Confident use of MS Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel, very good German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage.
