About the role
- To ensure robust financial accounting processes and internal controls are in place, supporting compliance, audit readiness, and operational excellence
- Lead control health checks, policy governance, and system testing to safeguard financial integrity and optimize business performance
- Support control healthcheck program and ensure timely delivery of all audit milestones
- Oversee policy compliance assessments, gap analysis, and remediation planning
- Drive risk & controls culture assessment, including management interviews and reporting
- Ensure audit evidence is complete, accurate, and accessible
- Prepare and present audit reports and management comments to leadership
- Develop and maintain financial processes, procedures, and policies
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in financial governance
- Define scope and scenarios for system testing of SAP modules
- Conduct system tests for invoicing processes to ensure VAT invoices match delivery records and warehouse documentation
- Validate system controls and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, HR, OPS, IT, CORA, and Marketing SPOCs for audit deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting, internal controls, or audit within a multinational FMCG or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
