About the role

  • You translate validated user needs into clear, functional UI designs and maintain and expand our existing design system to ensure consistency.
  • You foster a discovery mindset, challenge assumptions, ask "Why are we building this?" and conduct validations to identify the actual problems.
  • You work within SAFe and Scrum frameworks, plan and track tasks, and communicate progress using tools like Azure DevOps.
  • You collaborate closely with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with business goals.
  • You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and design standards to steadily enhance the usability and efficiency of our tools.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
  • Solid practical knowledge of UX/UI principles such as information architecture, visual hierarchy, consistency, and usability heuristics for designing intuitive user interfaces.
  • Proficient use of Figma as the primary tool for wireframing and UI design.
  • Experience designing for complex, specialized applications (e.g., CAD/3D tools) and an understanding of technical workflows in these environments.
  • Strong discovery mindset with the ability to analyze the problem space, prioritize user value, and adapt design processes to the needs of engineering workflows.
  • Proficient written and spoken German and English.
