About the role

  • Receive, review and submit invoices in PA14.
  • Generate purchase orders (PO).
  • Manage urgent supplier payments according to operational requirements.
  • Create, unblock and modify vendors in SAP.
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries related to supplier account statements.
  • Validate and monitor master data, including USD accounts, payment methods and credit terms.
  • Prepare and file taxes with the DGI (PA10).
  • Monitor tax filings in Nicaragua (NI10).
  • Process payment of the annual Income Tax (IR) return in NI10 and PA10.
  • Prepare, file and pay municipal taxes with the Municipality of Nicaragua.
  • Monitor and reconcile Open Items in the General Ledger (GL) for NI10, PA10 and PA14.
  • Analyze and clear bank Open Items in NI10 and PA10.
  • Perform account reconciliations using BlackLine.
  • Validate records for the close process under IFRS 15.
  • Prepare accounting projections for financial planning (MOPE) in NI10, PA10 and PA14.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, or a related finance/accounting field.
  • Knowledge of the full accounting cycle.
  • Experience in administrative and financial tasks.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Intermediate level of English; SAP knowledge is desirable.
