About the role

  • Lead the translation of complex business needs into scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Partner with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and delivery teams to shape the end-to-end functional design, drive best practices, and ensure value realization through adoption and measurable outcomes
  • Serve as the bridge between Business and Technical teams
  • Lead workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders
  • Convert business epics into prioritized backlogs; facilitate grooming and sprint planning with product owners and development teams
  • Translate business processes into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and functional specifications
  • Perform gap analyses between current processes and Salesforce standard capabilities; identify opportunities to simplify and standardize
  • Coach junior analysts and consultants; establish functional standards, reusable assets, and best practices
  • Support pre-sales activities (scoping, solution narratives, effort estimation)

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Functional Consultant
  • Deep expertise in core Sales Cloud capabilities and Service Cloud capabilities
  • Field Service and Revenue Cloud experience would be a significant plus
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, formulas, validation rules, record types, page layouts, dynamic forms, permission sets, queues) and reporting/dashboards
  • Comfortable operating in Agile/Scrum environments: story writing, acceptance criteria, backlog management, sprint ceremonies
  • Skilled facilitator for workshops and stakeholder management; clear communication of trade-offs and best practices to non-technical audiences
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving; able to move between high-level architecture and detailed functional configuration
  • Familiarity with UX principles and the ability to guide user-centric process and page design on Salesforce
  • Professional working proficiency in Dutch or French with a good knowledge of the other language
  • Bonus: Certifications Strongly preferred: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
  • Nice to have: Platform App Builder, Salesforce Business Analyst, Field Service Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Administrator/Consultant, CPQ Specialist, OmniStudio Consultant
