About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain an advanced test automation framework using Java and Playwright
  • Build scalable, maintainable, and stable UI tests covering core business workflows
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor their reliability
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps in an Agile setup
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
  • Analyze test results and raise quality improvement suggestions when necessary.

Requirements

  • 4–5+ years of professional experience in test automation
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in Playwright
  • Expert-level knowledge of Playwright Cypress for UI and end-to-end testing
  • Strong proficiency in Java
  • Solid understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
  • Experience designing and scaling test automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in complex technical environments
  • Good communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)
