About the role

  • In your role as Supply Chain Excellence Manager (m/f/d), you will act as the strategic staff function to the Head of Supply Chain & Operations, driving efficiency and quality across our supply chain.
  • Specifically, you will build and further develop a cross-functional KPI framework, analyze metrics from all supply chain and operations functions, and facilitate performance reviews.
  • You will also identify and realize optimization opportunities across the entire supply chain — from planning and procurement through logistics, production and customer service — and establish standardized continuous improvement processes to ensure sustainable implementation.
  • As a strategic partner, you will prepare analyses and concepts, support audits, workshops and transformation projects, and actively contribute to the development of end-to-end processes.
  • Within active change and stakeholder management, you will facilitate cross-functional workshops, communicate progress and best practices, and promote a data- and performance-oriented culture across all supply chain units.

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in supply chain, operations excellence, performance management, or a related area.
  • Strong analytical skills and confident use of KPIs, dashboards and BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, Excel Advanced).
  • Knowledge of process optimization and Lean/OPEX; Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to structure complex topics and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Very good German and English skills.
Benefits
  • Exciting responsibilities — take them on with a high degree of ownership in an ambitious environment offering excellent development opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation package — attractive base salary plus bonus.
  • Financial benefits — support for private pension plans, life-phase account for paid leave (e.g., sabbatical, early retirement), discounts at many (online) retailers, and bike leasing.
  • Modern working-time arrangements — time autonomy (contractual working time 42.5 hours/week), focus on results-oriented work, and 1–2 days per week of remote work.
  • Regular time off — 30 days annual leave plus up to 6 additional days off (company closures on bridge days and between the years), and special leave for particular occasions.
  • Health & wellbeing — occupational health services with comprehensive preventive examinations, social counseling, and an on-site staff canteen with freshly prepared meals daily.
  • Sustainability and social engagement — sustainability is part of the company strategy and targeted support for initiatives in education, family and science through its own foundations.
