About the role
- Designing and developing aeronautical structures including wings, empennage, and composite parts using advanced 3D modeling and CAD tools (CATIA)
- Conducting comprehensive mechanical design studies, focusing on functional dimensioning, tolerances, and the design of machined parts, sheet metal, and composite components
- Ensuring data maturity (PDA) and efficiently managing design changes throughout the product lifecycle
- Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to guarantee quality, feasibility, and compliance of designs with aeronautical standards
- Participating in the industrialization and validation of solutions, including 5-axis machining and assembly processes
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- 2 to 5 years of experience in aeronautical structural design with demonstrated expertise in materials including composites, sheet metal, and machined parts
- Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 and data management tools (PDM/PDA) with strong knowledge of functional dimensioning and tolerances
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes including 5-axis machining, forming, and assembly techniques
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in team environments.
