About the role

  • Advising OpCos (operating companies) on compliance‑related issues arising from day‑to‑day operations
  • Ensuring the implementation and execution of the compliance measures defined by the Prevent, Detect and React areas within the respective Business Area
  • Advising, supervising and coordinating OpCo Compliance Managers in implementing group‑wide requirements and standards
  • Participating in risk analyses and process improvements for the respective OpCo to identify weaknesses and derive appropriate measures
  • Drafting, maintaining and further developing OpCo‑specific policies, standards and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Developing and implementing OpCo‑specific compliance training programs and awareness measures and ensuring effective communication of compliance policies and standards within the OpCos
  • Conducting compliance monitoring and reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer
  • Incident management and investigations into potential compliance breaches at the OpCos

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, law or a related/equivalent field with a focus on compliance, governance or risk management
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in compliance, risk management or governance — ideally within an industrial company
  • Solid knowledge in one of the Business Areas (Precious Metals, Healthcare or Semiconductor & Electronics)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in one of the industries mentioned above and with internal control systems, as well as experience in the operational implementation of compliance measures
  • Strong communication skills in German and English (business fluent), particularly when liaising with operational units and central functions
  • Team player with a cooperative approach, especially in collaboration with Compliance Officers
