About the role

  • As a UX/UI Designer, you’ll be part of a team that designs digital products, platforms, and services that people love to use.
  • You’ll work alongside senior designers, strategists, and technologists to bring ideas to life—from early concepts to polished interfaces.
  • Lead the design of user interfaces and experiences across web, mobile, and emerging platforms (e.g., voice, AR/VR).
  • Translate complex user needs and business goals into strategic design solutions—wireframes, prototypes, and polished visuals.
  • Champion accessibility, sustainability, and ethical design practices throughout the design process.
  • Conduct and synthesize advanced user research, usability testing, and behavioral insights.
  • Contribute to and evolve design systems that ensure consistency, scalability, and brand integrity.
  • Mentor junior designers and guide cross-functional teams in design best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to align design outcomes with business objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally within a consultancy, agency, or innovation-driven in-house team.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, design excellence, and impact across multiple digital touchpoints.
  • Mastery of modern design tools like Figma, Adobe CC, and good understanding of AI-enhanced platforms (e.g., Uizard, Magician Design, ProtoPie).
  • Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2), ethical design, and sustainable UX principles.
  • Strong skills in user research, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience with design systems, multichannel journeys, and cross-platform consistency.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • An excellent command of the English language, other languages are a plus.
  • The flexibility to travel in and outside the Netherlands.
