Operations

• Performs in-court updating including processing documents filed and distributed in the courtroom
• Perform a variety of advanced clerical functions and multiple case types
• Provide assistance to attorneys, parties, judges, and the public by responding to a variety of questions in person, over the phone, by mail, and/or electronically
• Perform courtroom support by working with judges, court reporters, and other justice partners, calling cases, taking notes, and handling documents in the courtroom
• Review, enter, record, and update case information using an electronic case processing system and related applications and equipment
• Schedule and maintain court calendars
• May perform the duties of an Electronic Recording Equipment Operator (EREO)
• Attends and participates in division/team meetings and trainings; maintains knowledge of court policies, process, and procedures
• May provide backup coverage for jury management – deliver orientation to prospective jurors and manage jurors during jury trials

Project Manager

• Develops and manages projects including schedules and milestones for initiatives
• Conducts legal and policy research on consumer debt litigation practices
• Writes technical reports and recommendations for the Minnesota Supreme Court
• Drafts documents guiding considerations for amendments to legal rules
• Organizes and leads meetings with stakeholders to validate findings and incorporate diverse perspectives

Access to Justice Project Manager

Attorney

• Review, study, research, and annotate laws, court decisions, documents related to child protection
• Respond to legal inquiries from external stakeholders
• Prepare for and respond to federal audits in collaboration with the Department of Children, Youth and Families
• Provide project management for the court improvement program
• Develop tools for internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance
• Conduct outreach to various teams within the child protection system
