About the role

  • Perform administrative work in an office setting, including advanced clerical case processing, data entry, and financial transaction entry using multiple court technology systems.
  • Review filings for timeliness, completeness, proper document security, and statutory compliance.
  • Provide court information, procedure assistance and appropriate resources to internal and external court customers.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with team members to ensure daily work assignments and case processing are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with division goals and established processing standards.
  • Provide operational support across all Civil Division lines of business by assisting other civil departments as needed.
  • Provide courtroom support by communicating effectively and promptly with judicial officers, court reporters, justice partners, and court customers to manage court calendars.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year of relevant job experience OR equivalent amount of post-high school education and experience totaling one year.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, or other electronic document applications
  • Reliable, with the ability to meet commitments, organize work and keep projects on task.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume fast-paced work environment with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team-oriented, with a positive attitude and the ability to establish and maintain respectful, effective relationships.
  • Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with court staff, court partners, judicial officers, and the public.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to change, with the ability to learn and apply new material and concepts.
  • Ability to transition from one assignment to another with ease.
