About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain continuous contact with business areas to identify opportunities for process improvement or generation of strategic insights through predictive models, machine learning techniques, optimization, and operations research;
Manage the team responsible for translating business problems into analytical solutions, ensuring clarity for the technical team during implementation;
Lead meetings confidently, understanding stakeholders' needs and turning them into project opportunities;
Validate and evaluate analytical, data science, and operations research solutions, guiding the best approaches for each challenge;
Apply best practices in **project management**, reviewing timelines, identifying critical points, and recognizing all stakeholders involved;
Have knowledge of **change management** for application across various projects within the area;
Prepare project documentation and functional documentation for solutions, acting as the interface with client areas and ensuring delivery cadence — with clearly defined start, middle, and end.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or higher;
Postgraduate degree, master's or doctorate will be considered a plus;
Essential knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, machine learning and/or operations research;
Minimum of **7 years** experience in Business Analytics / Analytics;
Minimum of **3 years** experience as a team manager;
Practical and technical knowledge of **SQL** and **Python**.
**Preferred:**
English – Advanced level;
Spanish – Intermediate level.
**Advantage:**
Previous experience as a manager or leader of teams in analytical areas.
