About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and formalize processes and best practices for system development, integration, delivery, and operation.
- Implement governance frameworks, decision-making models, and change and release controls.
- Audit the execution of defined processes and validate compliance in projects and deliveries.
- Design, establish, and review SLAs, KPIs, and governance metrics (e.g., availability, delivery lead time, failure rate, remediation cycle).
- Create and maintain governance reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor the outcomes of adopted practices and drive corrective actions when indicators show deviations.
- Manage and govern the systems portfolio, supporting initiative prioritization together with the business and architecture teams.
- Review and approve architectural decisions and critical changes that impact quality, security, and scalability.
- Lead and support internal and external audits related to processes, security, and compliance.
- Document processes, policies, and standards; train teams on governance practices and tool usage.
- Facilitate communication between business, development, operations, and security to align expectations and governance requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Solid experience in IT governance and software lifecycle management (analysis, development, testing, deployment, operation).
- Hands-on experience with process audits, defining SLAs/KPIs, and preparing governance reports.
- Development management: Jira, Confluence, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, Azure DevOps.
- ITSM / incident management: ServiceNow, Freshservice, or similar.
- Reporting and analytics: Power BI or advanced Excel.
- Basic SQL and scripting (Python, Bash) for data extraction and analysis.
- Modeling/process tools: BPMN, Visio, or similar.
- Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Understanding of systems architecture, integration, and security patterns.
- Preferred: ITIL 4 Foundation.
- Advantage: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor.
- Advantage: Project management experience.
- Ability to define clear, measurable processes and metrics.
- Ability to audit, identify non-conformities, and propose corrective actions.
- Clear communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Data- and results-oriented; attention to detail and evidence-based decision making.
- Influence and negotiation skills to align priorities and ensure adoption of practices.
- Autonomy to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage risks.
