About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support material planning and inventory management activities for assigned product lines.
- Create purchase requisitions based on MRP recommendations, forecasts, and customer demand.
- Release and monitor purchase orders and internal stock transfer orders (ISTOs).
- Release and track work orders to support production and customer requirements.
- Coordinate disposition, rework, and purge activities for assigned products.
- Communicate product availability, supply concerns, and potential risks to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory levels and support inventory reduction and optimization initiatives.
- Maintain planning reports and ensure data accuracy within ERP systems.
- Identify and escalate potential shortages, excess inventory, and supply chain risks.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings supporting assigned product lines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Planning and Supply Chain organization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 2–4 years of experience in planning, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or a related environment.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and levels of the organization.
- Desire to learn and develop expertise in planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
