About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide scheduled case reviews and consultations to care managers regarding the psychiatric care of assigned patients.
- Submit written consult notes with medication recommendations and other treatment updates within 24 hours, finalized in Mindoula’s Member Registry.
- Support ongoing treatment in the primary care, OBGYN, or pediatric setting and recommend transitions to more intensive or specialized mental health services as needed.
- Contribute to the training of primary care staff and providers on behavioral health conditions and integrated care best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- An active Michigan medical license.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry.
- A strong interest in integrated, virtual, and measurement-based care models.
- Experience in women's health and/or pediatrics (preferred, not required).
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states (preferred, not required).
