About the role
- Provide accurate and culturally appropriate translations while meeting client deadlines
- Follow client-specific style guides, glossaries, and terminology
- Communicate clearly with the Mindlink team regarding availability, questions, or clarifications
- Revise translations based on feedback when required
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Somali
- Minimum 3 years of professional translation experience
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn and use new softwares; experience with CAT tools strongly preferred
- Ability to follow instructions, style guides, and quality standards
