About the role
- Coach, mentor, and motivate a team of SMB sales reps focused on acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts
- Set clear goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets
- Oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals
- Manage team pipeline, provide accurate sales forecasts, and report on team performance to senior leadership
- Work closely with various teams to align go-to-market strategies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a sales team (preferably a hybrid sales team)
- Proven success in sales roles prior to management
- Proven ability to balance new business development with account management responsibilities
- Passion for developing talent and helping others succeed
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Ability to commute to our Lexington, MA or Minneapolis, MN office
