About the role

  • Senior HR Business Partner will support various groups in the organization; acts as a consultant to management on HR-related issues such as employee relations, performance management, and talent management; champions culture and engages with HR Leadership Team; develops, implements, and administers employee relations programs
  • Provide counsel and ensure prompt investigation for all legal-related matters; provides HR policy guidance and interpretation; coordinates and monitors performance management program to ensure effective and timely performance evaluations
  • Proactively seek knowledge of industry best practices, legal developments, and benchmark comparisons to create best-in-class HR practices
  • Drive organizational development efforts to improve processes, team dynamics, and overall effectiveness
  • Design, administer, and analyze employee engagement surveys; translate results into actionable insights and initiatives
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention; design and implement leadership development initiatives
  • Provide guidance on pay decisions, policy interpretation, and job evaluation; day-to-day performance management guidance to line management
  • Stay abreast of changing business needs and anticipate HR issues and opportunities; develop company programs to increase engagement and retention
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience with emphasis in leadership development, talent management, HR strategy and process improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • SPHR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements
  • High level of interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Leadership ability to select, lead, evaluate, and develop employees
  • Adaptable to changing work environment and shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and HRIS (Workday)
  • Ability to engage employees and build relationships across the organization at all levels
  • Ability to work on both strategic and tactical responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel as necessary
