About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers in the field.
  • Install, maintain, and repair basic and intermediate Miltenyi equipment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and perform repairs on equipment.
  • Identify and diagnose technical issues, providing effective solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports and installation documents.
  • Work closely with other team members to address customer needs effectively.
  • Adhere to company standards and procedures for service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel domestically, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • HS Diploma required
  • 2 years formalized technical training or education (e.g. Associates degree, Military Occupational Specialty, etc.)
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a customer facing technical support role in a scientific or similarly regulated environment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Time Management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to operate a computer with Windows™ operating system, Outlook™ email, internet, and basic MS Office™ products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Valid Passport.
