About the role
- Provide the research and analysis on which all our advice rests
- Monitor discussion of our clients' interests among media and stakeholders
- Produce excellent written work for a range of audiences and channels
- Make valuable contributions to internal and external meetings offering both their point of view and organizational skills
- Find and draw insights from data and evidence to inform our advice
- Use research tools and platforms - including Factiva and Meltwater - to conduct high quality desk research, media analysis and insight generation
- Follow a wide range of relevant industry and client news across multiple channels
- Use AI tools proficiently in order to contribute to high-quality outputs
- Participate in team discussions to develop strategic and creative thinking for clients
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in the English language
- Experience conducting research and translate findings into logical insights
- Proficiency in time management and project management
- An interest in reputation management and storytelling
- Desire to learn how to be an adviser
- Keen interest in a range of storytelling channels and their efficacy for different audiences (e.g. owned platforms, media reporting, social media commentary, policy speech making)
- Intellectual curiosity to develop subject matter expertise in new topics (eg. attending events, reading, seeking out more experienced individuals)
- A highly motivated team member who values collaboration and learning from others
- A desire to seek out feedback in order to learn and develop
- Commitment to contributing to a supportive and inclusive culture
- Exposure to relevant fields through work experience or internships (e.g. public relations, corporate communications, media, policymaking or research)
- Curiosity and/or experience in the technology industry
- Experience using LLMs effectively and critically to support studies or work
- Experience building websites, apps and/or other technical products.
