About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Owning the design, writing and execution of test cases for the features you work on
Building and maintaining automated tests using Playwright, and growing the reliability of our regression packs
Identifying, reporting and helping resolve issues, working with engineers to get to root cause
Collaborating with product and engineering to clarify requirements and feed in a testability perspective early
Contributing ideas on test tooling, coverage and process improvements
Keeping up with new testing tools and techniques, including effective use of AI tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2 years’ experience in a software testing, QA or SDET role
Solid working knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes
Hands-on experience writing automated tests with Playwright (or a comparable framework)
Working programming ability in JavaScript/TypeScript
Good SQL skills — able to write queries to validate data and investigate issues
Understanding of how to effectively prompt and utilise AI tools for test planning, documentation, and analysis
Experience with both white-box and black-box testing
Good spoken and written English, with clear documentation skills
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
A high degree of personal honesty and integrity
