About the role
- Process and analyze Direct Orders, commercial and government, and Export to ensure accurate invoicing and contract compliance.
- Support the Customized Invoicing team by submitting accurate and timely invoices to various customers.
- Assist the team with Order price checks and analytics.
- Work with internal business partners to resolve invoicing issues that prevent or delay timely invoicing.
- Correspond with dealers and the internal team to resolve dealer pricing and order questions.
- Finalize and submit Customized invoices to the correct contact or invoicing platform.
- Maintain a Deferred Invoicing portfolio, with frequent updates on each project status.
- Assist Collections teams with rejected or disputed invoices.
- Support the work of Deferred Invoicing and Customized invoicing, and manage basic portfolio as required.
- Work with Finance to properly follow SOX and generally accepted accounting principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting /Finance.
- Export/international experience preferred.
- 2 years of experience with professional accounting/finance experience required.
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Understanding of an Order to Cash system
- Experience reading and interpreting payment terms for contracts
- Experience with reviewing and auditing customer purchase orders to create custom invoices.
- Ability to access and input invoices on multiple customer databases.
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with accounting principles, concepts, and theories.
- Ability to problem solve, research root causes and work independently.
