About the role
- Support all specimen shipping operations by following standard operating procedures
- Oversee distribution matters and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Monitor and track daily on-demand UPS and FedEx customer shipments
- Maintain UPS Placard Program and facilitate expansion across the business
- Serve as logistics point of contact for Sales, Field Services, and other cross-functional teams
- Provide real-time chat support to Customer Service team via Microsoft Teams channel
- Investigate and resolve customer shipping issues in a timely, proactive manner
- Partner with Data Services to resolve discrepancies in monthly UPS Zero-Volume Pickup fees and contain costs
- Facilitate logistic needs for Telehealth customers and associated vendors
- Prepare for and attend weekly Corporate Performance Management calls with MH and UPS stakeholders
- Update standard operating procedures and educational materials to maintain accuracy and timeliness
- Train Customer Service Advocates and Coordinators on new procedures and provide ongoing refresher training
- Ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance policies, and cyber security controls are adhered to at all times
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- 1-3 years Logistics and Customer Service experience
- Previous experience using Salesforce is required
- Strong experience in Word and Outlook with advanced working
- knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
- Strong ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with customers, partners, and peers
- Strong project management skills including the ability to work independently, establish priorities, assist/direct staff and complete multiple projects in a timely, organized matter
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data
- Strong attention to detail; ability to find and analyze mistakes
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on projects and assignments
- Ability to effectively handle large workloads with changing priorities
- Ability to use independent judgment and critical thinking
- Must be Internet savvy and computer literate – Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce
- Must be flexible and adaptable within a changing, fast paced environment
