About the role

  • Support all specimen shipping operations by following standard operating procedures
  • Oversee distribution matters and provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Monitor and track daily on-demand UPS and FedEx customer shipments
  • Maintain UPS Placard Program and facilitate expansion across the business
  • Serve as logistics point of contact for Sales, Field Services, and other cross-functional teams
  • Provide real-time chat support to Customer Service team via Microsoft Teams channel
  • Investigate and resolve customer shipping issues in a timely, proactive manner
  • Partner with Data Services to resolve discrepancies in monthly UPS Zero-Volume Pickup fees and contain costs
  • Facilitate logistic needs for Telehealth customers and associated vendors
  • Prepare for and attend weekly Corporate Performance Management calls with MH and UPS stakeholders
  • Update standard operating procedures and educational materials to maintain accuracy and timeliness
  • Train Customer Service Advocates and Coordinators on new procedures and provide ongoing refresher training
  • Ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance policies, and cyber security controls are adhered to at all times

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • 1-3 years Logistics and Customer Service experience
  • Previous experience using Salesforce is required
  • Strong experience in Word and Outlook with advanced working
  • knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with customers, partners, and peers
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to work independently, establish priorities, assist/direct staff and complete multiple projects in a timely, organized matter
  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to find and analyze mistakes
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on projects and assignments
  • Ability to effectively handle large workloads with changing priorities
  • Ability to use independent judgment and critical thinking
  • Must be Internet savvy and computer literate – Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce
  • Must be flexible and adaptable within a changing, fast paced environment
