About the role
- Design to client and regulatory requirements
- Manage small to mid-size projects to schedule and budget
- Keep Milhouse Engineering management advised of all quality, schedule, and budget variances in a timely manner
- Manage subordinate or other discipline resources to quality, schedule, and budget requirements
- Prepare project documents and reports
- Maintain project files
- Create and enforcing project quality plan
- Data and document entry into various platforms
- Report safety, health, and quality issues to management
- Prepare contract amendments, change order documentation, and claims documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- 3 years of electrical engineering design experience
- Oil & gas, midstream, utilities, or industrial facilities experience required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Moderate experience with Deltek Project Planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Autocad and/or MicroStation
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, AGA, API and other applicable codes and standards
- Knowledge of Primavera P6 schedule analysis
- Familiar with discipline specific design software and design management systems
- Previous experience managing a large number of small deadlines
- SKM and/or ETAP proficiency
- I&C design experience
- Instrumentation selection experience (PIT, TIT, FIT, LIT, Etc.)
- P&ID development capability
