About the role
- Pre-operational inspection, recordkeeping, monitor CCP, and making sure the safety plan is functioning as intended
- Hold non compliance products, help root cause analysis when it is required
- Receiving inspection and shipping verification
- Read and interpret product specifications
- Quality control data entry
- Record keeping
- Monitor the production areas for Good Manufacturing Practices and compliance.
- Assist in special projects and ensure that accurate data is collected and recorded.
- Position is required to be onsite 100%
Requirements
- HACCP knowledge, experience working at USDA inspection facilities or SQF, BRC certified food facilities
- Verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food allergen management program
- 2 years experience minimum in food manufacturing establishment or meat processing
- High School Diploma is required for QA Technician role.
- PCQI, HACCP, Certification, or willingness to learn and complete this at MiLa
