About the role
- Independently assess underwriting requests that fall outside partner brokers' delegated authority and define the terms and conditions for coverage.
- Take a proactive role in optimizing the underwriting framework and pricing approaches.
- Build trusted relationships with brokers, demonstrating responsiveness and clear, instructive communication.
- Monitor the portfolio.
- Contribute to the improvement of tools and processes related to underwriting professional lines/products.
Requirements
- 5 years' experience in Property Damage and Liability insurance for professional clients and small businesses.
- Strong interest in helping to build a new, ambitious insurance company.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and rigor in case assessment and risk management.
- Team player.
- Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with our partners (brokers) and internal teams.
