About the role
- Ensure compliance with the underwriting framework
- Proactively propose improvements to the underwriting framework
- Ensure quality of service to broker distributors
- Monitor the portfolio and control the loss ratio (claims-to-premium, S/P)
- Support and organize the underwriting team
- Structure processes and improve tools
- Handle sensitive and complex cases
- Liaise with the Claims, Product and Product Management teams
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Underwriter in the P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance sector
- Strong knowledge of property damage insurance products for the real estate sector
- Proven experience managing a team
- Degree in Insurance, Insurance Law, Economics, Finance or equivalent
