About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Customer support as the primary point of contact via phone, email and remote access.
Independently receive, process and document service requests and incidents.
Provide technical support and system monitoring in the areas of virtualization, Windows and Linux server services.
Administer server hardware, storage systems, operating systems and networks.
Proactively monitor customer systems and perform regular health checks.
Identify root causes of problems and derive improvement measures.
Plan, execute and control managed services within agreed SLAs.
Participate in change management and consistently document all activities.
Prepare service reports and support Continual Service Improvement (CSI).
Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure stable, secure and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable qualification.
Career changers with relevant practical experience are also welcome.
You are curious, enjoy developing professionally and want to continuously expand your knowledge in a modern IT environment.
Professional and friendly manner when dealing with customers and colleagues is a matter of course for you.
You enjoy working in a team but can also take on tasks independently.
You are proficient with Windows (client/server) and Linux systems.
Terms such as DNS and DHCP are familiar to you.
You have a solid basic understanding of networking.
Good practical experience with VMware technologies (Broadcom / Omnissa) and knowledge of cloud environments.
You are interested in IT security topics and actively apply or continuously deepen this knowledge in day-to-day work.
Enthusiasm for new technologies and trends, especially in the areas of cloud and security, combined with a willingness to keep learning.
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
