About the role
- Build and own the Health Plan GTM strategy — target markets, segmentation, pricing, and contract value approach
- Drive new payer partnerships with Blues plans and commercial payers, from sourcing and relationship development to contracting and go-live
- Expand and grow existing partnerships to increase covered lives, add geographies, unlock clinical programs, and deepen revenue impact
- Own and exceed revenue goals for the health plan channel, creating predictable pipeline and sales forecasting
- Develop and lead a small but mighty payer sales team over time — hiring, coaching, and scaling sales excellence
- Partner cross-functionally with Payer Alliances, Commercial Operations, Clinical, Product, Finance, and Marketing to deliver strong partnership outcomes
- Influence Midi’s payer strategy and market positioning through competitor insights and executive-level relationship building
- Represent Midi externally as a category leader in women’s midlife care
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in payer sales or partnerships at a health tech, provider services, care delivery, or value-based care company
- Deep experience selling into or partnering with health plans, specifically Blue Cross Blue Shield regional plans
- Track record of closing multi-million dollar payer deals and consistently exceeding quota
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-level stakeholders externally and internally
- Proven success building GTM motion from early traction to scale
- Experience in value-based or risk-aligned partnerships is a strong plus
