About the role

  • Varied and challenging responsibilities in project assignments at our clients
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and the client's domain architecture to contribute to the development of the IT architecture
  • Identify, analyze, and structure requirements and their impact on the IT architecture
  • Align and prioritize requirements taking into account the business and IT architecture as well as project objectives
  • Develop solution architectures from both functional and technical perspectives
  • Logically structure systems and their interactions to create a holistic system architecture
  • Ensure compliance with standards and guidelines regarding architecture principles, integration, deliverable types, and project methodology
  • Advise the client on IT architecture and contribute to defining quality and testing strategies

Requirements

  • Degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field with an IT focus
  • Practical experience in designing application landscapes and their data assets as well as in operating IT systems
  • Knowledge of common cloud architectures and concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with model-based working and familiarity with suitable modeling languages (e.g., ArchiMate, UML, BPMN)
  • ISAQB or TOGAF certification is a strong plus
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Experience with agile working and agile processes such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Autonomous and structured way of working
  • Excellent communication skills, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Business-fluent German
  • Ability to communicate in English when required
  • Occasional travel within Germany is acceptable
