About the role

  • Drive the commercial success of the Vivistim® Paired VNS™ System within a defined geographic region
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and stroke rehabilitation centers
  • Lead sales efforts and support product education
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to identify patient candidates
  • Facilitate therapy implementation
  • Achieve sales objectives while managing accounts in the assigned geography
  • Provide detailed sales forecasting and accurate reporting
  • Prepare product presentations for prospect accounts and physicians
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree (preferably in life sciences, business, nursing, or medical product marketing)
  • Minimum of 5 years of documented, successful sales experience with supporting results
  • Experience selling directly to the specialty healthcare physician communities (PM&R, Neurosurgery, Interventional Pain Management, Physical Therapy)
  • Successfully representing and launching a revolutionary technology
  • Rehabilitation experience especially related to Stroke patient recovery preferred
  • Previous implantable, programmable neuromodulation experience preferred
  • Experience and success selling to the C-level of large hospital/clinic or ambulatory surgical centers
  • Start-up experience related to accountability and culture
  • Solid process orientation and resource management experience
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM
